Friends/ sponsor pages
Drop Naked has great chocolates that are vegan! I first met the owner/ had the chocolates at the Kelowna Farmer's market. Super tasty! They became our first sponsor to the Magic SOAPbox Monday song / story time. Definitely a sweet way to start !
Jim Ripley was the first sponsor. He covered the recording costs of "Let's Sing Together and continues to be supportive through his kind words and suggestions. Thank you Jim! He is an entrepreneur extraordinaire as well as a musician with some gems of genius he turned into Guitaraoke, to help others play.

I think that I met Jenni, the human heart of Animal Instinct yoga, in Vernon near the beginning of 2020. We both share a respect of animals and nature so have become friends and supporters of eachother. I am grateful that she had me perform at her grand opening of her yoga studio and to have been a part of her life's journey towards working with people in ways that help her heal and grow. She introduces yoga to people in unique ways that often connect people with both nature and pets. I have had the opportunity to experience two shortened versions of her sessions now! I found them refreshing and a great way to center myself before doing a few songs and stories. Thanks Jennie Gladue! She is off to Alberta, as of September 2021, to get more schooling in the animal healing field. This chapter in BC is over, but I am sure she will be back.
Vegilante has a great Okanagan made product. Let me use their words to tell you about it:
"Our mission is to empower you with every bite. We offer our community, a high protein plant-based product that doesn't pretend to be something it's not.
We've taken the long list of benefits that come from the tempeh fermentation and use it on adzuki beans, black beans, chickpeas and mung beans instead of soybeans. These blocks of tempeh offer a unique culinary experience with new flavours and textures.
This business is our contribution to nudging the world in the direction we want to see. Whatever label you've applied to yourself and your lifestyle, we believe that our tempeh will align with your values, excite your taste buds and help you discover new ways to experience food.
We use the moose as our logo since the moose is the largest herbivore in North America."
I wrote the following in 2011... still relevant.
Not asking for a million $
not asking for a hand
wanting to make the world a better place
dont you understand?
but if you want to be a part
if you care to try
we will gladly take your tips
i dont want to lie
this isnt a sure thing
nothing ever is
but we have a track record
in the caring biz
we've been helping people help themselves
for over 20 yrs
we need to train up new recruits
in releasing others fears
helping create worlds of laughter and learning

and create an inspiration show!
